Our Montessori toddler “Seedlings” program provides a sensitive transition from home to school. Through hands-on activities, this program focuses on emerging language skills, separation and trust, self-help, and motor skills. Children begin their social and educational growth here in a homey, safe, child-centered space.
Schedule
We offer full-time and limited part-time options.In addition to our 5-full day schedule, we also have limited 3 (TWTh) and 4-day (MTWTh or TWThF) schedules. All options have both morning (8:30 – 12:15) and full-day (8:30 – 3:30) times available. Early (7:30) and Late (4:30 or 5:30) is also available.
Ages
A toddler between the ages of 18 months and approximately 3 years old will be appropriately placed in this program.
Class Size
Maximum 10 children in the morning. In the afternoon the group size ranges from 6 – 10.
Ratio
Approximate 5:1 ratio with 2 teachers.
Classroom, Circle Time & Curriculum
Children receive loving care while exploring the Montessori materials, learning centers and gross motor activity. Short circle times for lessons or enrichment activities take place daily.
