All of our programs feature curriculum based in the Montessori philosophy, which allows your child to choose meaningful activities that foster their imagination, curiosity and intellect. You can expect a low student to teacher ratio and a strong emphasis on exploring music, building a peaceful community, developing math and literacy skills, learning the French language and utilizing creative arts in all of our classrooms.

 

We offer a 3, 4 or 5 day toddler program, for children aged 18 months to 3 years, with curriculum focusing on encouraging independence and self-help skills.  We also offer a 2 or 3 day Preschool for 3 and 4 year old students that uses the cornerstones of Montessori teachings to guide young learners.  Our 5 day Pre-Primary program for 3 and 4 year olds expands on the Preschool offering by delving more deeply into literacy and cultural themes and science and seasonal explorations.  Our 5 day Kindergarten for 4 and 5 year olds is approved by the State of Maine and focuses more intently on literacy skills as our students prepare for their elementary school 

education.

 

Additionally, we provide before and after-school care for students within our school and for Falmouth Public Schools, vacation and summer camps, and enrichment opportunities throughout the school year.
